Food & Drink

Tired of the same old same old? Us too! The hum will have rotating food and drink vendors to give our patrons different options for each event. Food trucks, breweries, seltzers, wine, and more will be on hand at each event to give you a one of a kind experience. Sorry, no outside food or drinks will be allowed, however each patron may bring one unsealed water bottle to the venue.

Parking Map

ADA and paid parking is available on a first come first serve basis in our grass lot. There is an abundance of public and private parking within 2 city blocks of the hum. Please if you utilize our neighbors parking lots please be courteous! ADA parking is located in front of the Hefner Building at 221 2nd Ave SW, Hickory, NC 28601

There will be limited tickets available on the day of the show at the gate. We highly recommended buying tickets online beforehand from a trusted vendor.

You better believe it! Children 12 and under are admitted free with a paying adult patron. Adults (and not the hum) are responsible for the actions of children in their party.”

No chairs will be provided. Please bring your own lawn chair or blanket.

We’ll have plenty of options, leave yours at the house. Each patron may bring one unsealed water bottle to the venue.

For everyone’s safety, all of our events have a clear bag policy. To reduce staff contact with guest belongings, no bags or purses will be allowed in the gates unless they are made of a clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC material.

The hum has a paid grass parking lot that is adjacent to the venue. There is an abundance of public and private parking within 2 blocks of the hum. No pets are allowed, except for registered service animals.

All shows at the venue are rain or shine. If an event is canceled and not able to be rescheduled within 30 days through the ticket provider, a refund will be given. If you can not make the rescheduled date, a refund will be issued through the ticket provider.

Per NCDHHS Guidance, masks are not required for vaccinated individuals in an outside setting. We are strongly encouraging all non-vaccinated guests to wear a mask while visiting the hum.

Unless you are a NEST patron, you must buy a new ticket for re-entry after leaving.

As a ticket holder and / or by entering the venue, you agree to these terms: Attendees freely and voluntarily assume all risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury, illness, damage, loss, or expense of any kind. Attendees hereby release, agreement not to sue, discharge, and releases the hum, HUM HKY LLC (venue), its employees, artists, sponsors, and representatives, of and from any such claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, losses, or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto.

Attendee acknowledges the highly contagious factors of COVID-19 and assumes the risk of exposure or infection by attending any event at the venue. Such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, disability, and/or death to the attendee. Attendee acknowledges the risk of becoming exposed may generate from the actions and negligence of others attending this or any event at the venue. All patrons, regardless of who purchased the “ticket ,” acknowledge that they will assume all risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury, illness, damage, loss, or expense of any kind.

Attendees acknowledge that they will not hold the venue, and all representatives, agents, employees, of and from any such claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, losses, or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. Anyone who has a fever of or higher than 100.4° F and has answered yes to any of the COVID19 questions, will be asked to leave the property. The venue has the right to deny service to anyone for reasons including but not limited to those reasons provided herein. By entering onto the hum property, you assume all risks and exposers to COVID19 and take full responsibility. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By visiting the venue, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

If in the event of severe weather during a performance at the hum:

In the best interests and safety of all, the venue reserves the right to stop or postpone the performance at anytime. If the performance is stopped at any point and can not be safely resumed, the performance will be considered complete and no refunds will be issued.
